Set of six mahogany Consulat period ( 1799-1804) open arm chairs, two signed Louis
A wonderful set of six period French Consulat period open arm chairs in well figured and carved mahogany; each with a square back topped by a bow shaped carved frieze featuring foliate rosettes, and downscrolled dolphin arms; two stamped Louis whose firm provided furniture for a number of royal residences including Saint Cloud and the Tuileries; all have their original needlepoint.
