Monumental bronze and frosted glass lantern; Italian early 20C; reportedly at one time hung in an important public building in downtown San Francisco; the main body of the lantern is suspended from eight scroll arms featuring well cast lion’s masks; each frosted glass panel is bordered by either rosettes; swags or palmettes;
