18thC Louis XV Mantel Clock - Circa 1760 - Signed Lamy au Louvre

An excellent example of a period Louis XV gilded bronze mantel clock; the case surmounted with gilt leaves and flowers in high rococo style; circa 1760; the white enamel Roman numeral dial is signed Lamy au Louvre; with a possibly later associated silk-string suspension movement ringing the hours and halves.
