Antique 18thC Berthoud Mantel Clock - Louis XVI Period

A magnificent grand scale period Louis XVI antique mantel clock. Two classically draped figures and two putti all playing musical instruments. The freize is also depicting frolicking cupids. The large enamel dial is signed Ferdinand Berthoud and the mainspring is signed Monginot and the spring dated 1780.
