Torbosch Antique Table Clock - Late 17thCA late 17thC six sided table clock with alarm in gilded bronze case with crystal side panels. The hinged bottom plate opening to reveal the movement, (the bell is located in the bottom section). The going train with fusee and chain for the verge escapement, standing barrel for the striking and alarms, pierced and engraved locking gate, balance cock with circular table; the dial with applied champleve silver chapter ring with roman numerals. (Modified to accomodate a glass bezel). The richly filigreed inside is engraved Gottfridt Torborch Munchen. A beautiful example of truly unique antique clock.
