A fine and rare late 18thC English mahogany knee-hole architect's desk finished in the round; the top slants up for reading, or cantilevers up for either reading or writing while standing up; the top drawer opens to reveal a leather topped writing slide with eight labeled inlaid correspondence compartments; circa 1790;
