Fine Viennese Biedermeier Mirror

A rare and unusual example of Austrian Biedermeier standing antique mirrors in ebony and fruitwood.  The shield shaped frame is supporting an oval mirror surmounted by two facing ebonized Egyptian sphynx.  The whole is supported on a stepped rectangular base.
