Georgian painted console with sienna marble
A rare and important example of console antique tables in the manner of William Kent. English, circa 1760. The carved frame is of pine and was likely originally water-gilded. The apron is fluted with rosettes above the four front and two back ‘twist fluted’ legs. There were possibly carved swags between the tops of the front legs. Original Sienna marble top.
